Gospel 90.3
Gospel 90.3 is the premier conservative Christian radio station for southern Florida. I have been their graphics designer for many years.
One of the initial challenges was giving the station a consistent identity. It all begins with the logo. Gospel 90.3’s manager at the time, Jon Marshall, knew what he wanted in his head but it took several days of listening and drafts before I came up with something that matched his vision.
The key was two words Jon would repeat, “classic gospel.” That got me studying every retro ad and design I could get my hands on. After taking an enjoyable trip into the 30’s, 40’s, and 50’s I emerged with the logo in hand. After adding a little chrome and a spit-shine, Gospel 90.3 was very pleased.
