The John Marshall Family
The John Marshall Family started traveling and singing gospel music in 1976. After recording more albums than you can shake a stick at, they asked me to design their latest project.
The Marshalls wanted a vintage look to go with their old-time music, so I gave the cover the look of a distressed image you might find in the attic somewhere. The neatest thing about the design isn’t on the outside: it’s the special CD made to look like an old LP. To match the LP look, I made the “paper” center distressed like it is a well-worn record.
I have to admit I’m particularly pleased with how this turned out and it is already starting to get good reviews. Most importantly, the client is very satisfied with it.
