Feel free to use any of the methods below.web design for
Adam Hager
Adam Hager is a talented bluegrass guitarist located in the Ripley, West Virginia area who has won numerous flat-picking championships. The best part is he is only 16 years old.
He felt it was time to get a presence online and came to me to design his logo, stationary, and website.
When we first started discussing his website design, he really did not know what he wanted. He only knew he did not want it too modern. I used a photorealistic design and stayed away from vector images. I scanned in one of his actual sheets of tablature (style of guitar musical notation) to use as a background and included some pictures of him holding his guitar. After adding a sticky note, ribbon, and envelope, the design was complete.
The best part is while the design stays away from being modern, the coding definitely does not. I use all the latest technologies to ensure the website is streamlined and does what it needs to efficiently.
Running the website is a program called WordPress that allows Adam to update just about everything on his site without ever talking to me. With an interface that is as easy as Microsoft Word, he can edit every page and see how the site will look with the changes before he publishes them.
The design has already had it’s share of recognition in the first month alone by Most Inspired, The Daily Slurp’s Site of the Day, and Morpheed. While the goal of any design is to be functional and please the client, it is nice to be noticed.
